DALLAS, Texas — Methodist Hospital police shot and arrested a suspected gunman accused of killing two staff, officers confirmed on Saturday.
Dallas police reported to ABC affiliate WFAA that the suspect, recognized as 30-year-old Nestor Hernandez, has been charged with capital homicide.
At about 11:15 a.m., officers responded to a capturing within the 1400 block of N. Beckley Avenue at Methodist Hospital.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two hospital staff, together with one nurse, within the labor and supply space, had been shot, in accordance with police.
The hospital confirmed to WFAA that each staff died from their wounds.
