SAN MATEO COUNTY – A 27-year-old Oakland man has been arrested in reference to armed robberies within the Bay Space and Central Valley, authorities stated.
One case was reported Sept. 8 within the 2000 block of Sharon Highway in West Menlo Park. Two suspects used a firearm to steal a Rolex watch and different property from the sufferer, based on an announcement launched by the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Workplace.
The company stated detectives recognized one of many suspects and realized he was out on bail for the same crime in Contra Costa County. The suspect was additionally linked to robberies in Santa Clara County and the town of Fresno.
An investigation revealed that the suspect adopted his victims from purchasing facilities and robbed them as they arrived at their houses, based on the sheriff’s workplace.
The company stated the suspect was arrested in reference to the San Mateo County armed theft on Sept. 8 and the opposite crimes at a later, unspecified date.
On Oct. 20, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Workplace, Fresno Police Division and the Oakland Police Division helped the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Workplace serve a search warrant on the suspect’s dwelling in Oakland, based on the sheriff’s workplace.
It was not instantly clear if authorities seized any proof associated to the alleged robberies.
