Man pleads responsible to stabbing husband greater than 50 instances in Mount Helix residence


A 46-year-old man pleaded responsible Wednesday to second-degree homicide for stabbing his husband to demise two years in the past of their Mount Helix residence.

Daniel Scott Jordan faces 16 years to life in jail for the slaying of Kevin Powell, 38. Jordan is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 11 in El Cajon Superior Courtroom, based on Deputy District Legal professional Eva Kilamyan.

Authorities mentioned that after Jordan killed Powell, he fled the state and was discovered days later in Nevada after attempting to kill himself.
