MLB commissioner ‘not constructive’ A’s keep

OAKLAND, Calif. (KRON) — It’s a query that has been lingering for years. With Oakland A’s followers hoping their workforce doesn’t go away the town, current feedback from MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred may not be reassuring them the workforce will keep.

“It doesn’t appear like it’s going to occur. I’m not constructive about it,” Manfred instructed Chris Russo of SiriusXM Radio on Friday. “The A’s have proceeded prudently in exploring the Las Vegas different. Given the shortage of tempo in Oakland, I feel they must search for another.”

Manfred did say Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf has made a “large effort” to attempt to hold the workforce within the metropolis.

“Completely, it’s going to occur,” Schaaf instructed KRON4 in Could when requested if followers will see a brand new stadium in Oakland.
