Orange County: 14-year-old woman, child kidnapped in violent house theft turned abduction in Westminster

WESTMINSTER, Calif. (KABC) — A person and a lady accused of violently breaking into a house in Westminster and kidnapping a household, together with a 14-year-old woman and a child, have been arrested, police say.

Based on police, officers responded to a house within the 14300 block of Pine Avenue early Thursday morning in reference to a kidnapping and assault with a lethal weapon.

When officers arrived, they discovered a person and girl bleeding from head accidents.

Police say the suspects, who’ve been recognized as 26-year-old Michael Alexander Rodriguez and 30-year-old Bich Dao Vo, also called Michelle Rodriguez, had been armed with weapons once they broke into the house and began demanding cash.

A 14-year-old woman and a 6-month-old child had been inside in the course of the incident, in keeping with investigators.
