NEW MEXICO — A Boy Scout troop from El Paso, Texas needed to be rescued after getting stranded for a number of days in a New Mexico forest.
On October 1st 16 scouts and 9 adults set off for what was presupposed to be a week-long tenting journey in Gila Nationwide Forest.
However heavy rain and a rising river prevented the scouts from leaving their campsite.
Households again house grew to become fearful after they did not hear from their family members.
New Mexico state police mentioned they bought a name from somebody within the troop on October 8, however unhealthy climate prevented them from making an attempt a rescue.
Rescuers flew within the subsequent day to avoid wasting the troop.
State police, together with the New Mexico Nationwide Guard, situated the troop and airlifted all of them to security.
The Boy Scouts had been reunited with their households on the Nationwide Monument’s Customer Heart.
Fortunately nobody was harm.
