Thieves attempt to blow up ATM in California

The sound of explosions rang out in California early Sunday morning after would-be thieves tried to blow their approach into an ATM.

It occurred round 4:05 a.m. at a Financial institution of America ATM in Palmdale.

Bomb technicians from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Division Particular Enforcement Bureau arrived and located proof of an explosion, with the ATM broken and a facet panel on the bottom.

Regardless of heavy harm to the machine, the would-be thieves had been unable to get to any of the money inside, the sheriff’s division mentioned.

A resident within the space instructed KTLA that the explosion might be heard from greater than a mile away, and there have been a number of home windows of close by outlets that had their home windows blown out.
