VALLEJO, Calif. (BCN) — A Vallejo man was sentenced on Monday to 30 years in jail for 2 counts of sexual exploitation of a kid, U.S. Lawyer Phillip A. Talbert introduced.
Tariq Arrhamann Majid, 44, was arrested in 2018 after an investigation into the sharing of on-line little one pornography. Authorities found photographs and movies of Majid sexually abusing two kids, one in all which was 9 years outdated on the time.
Through the investigation, it surfaced that Majid had contact with many different minors, the DOJ mentioned. He would prey on kids from economically deprived backgrounds, purporting to be their “mentor” whereas he groomed them for sexual exploitation.

Extra alleged victims of Majid have since come ahead and he has a case relating to these further crimes pending within the Solano Superior Court docket. The case towards Majid was investigated by the California Freeway Patrol Laptop Crimes unit, the FBI, the Golden Gate Particular Investigation Unit, and the DOJ.
